Notes

Tripartite sea holly (Eryngium tripartitum) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and blooms in summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Silver feather grass, Coneflower, and Nana white sagebrush.
