Notes

'Trumpeter' rose (Rosa 'Trumpeter') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. The compact plant stays 12 to 24 inches tall and wide, so it fits small spaces. Fragrant orange-red flowers attract butterflies and bees. McGredy Roses International introduced it in 1976.

Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, Lady's mantle, Brookside crane's-bill, and Feather reed grass.
