Notes

'Tulagi' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Tulagi') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms in early to mid spring with large clusters of deep mahogany petaloids. The blooms never feather, and the plant looks good even when not in bloom.

Pairs well with Smooth hydrangea, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Carlton daffodil, and Sedge.
