Notes

'Twister' agapanthus (Agapanthus africanus 'Twister') is a perennial for borders, containers, cut flower gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The blue flowers fade to white at the petal edges and form big umbels on compact plants. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms in summer. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Silver sage, and Purple top.
