Notes

'Vera Verde' hosta (Hosta 'Vera Verde') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Fragrant lavender flowers open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Yellow trout-lily, Little Hottie panicle hydrangea, and Ice Follies daffodil.
