Notes

'Violet Cascade' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Violet Cascade') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows fast into an arching shape and blooms in summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Feather reed grass, and Stonecrop.
