Notes
'Vista' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Vista') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The columnar form fits smaller spaces. Spring flowers draw butterflies and bees, and the fruit ripens late and is grown for fresh eating. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for pollination.
Pairs well with Sensation lilac, Paul Scherer tulip, and Hosta.
