Notes
'Vyvyan Pennell' clematis (Clematis 'Vyvyan Pennell') is a vine for trellises, fences, and arbors. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The first flowers open in spring and are violet blue, fully double, and touched with red. Late summer flowers are single. It climbs 6 to 10 feet high, so give it a sturdy support.
Pairs well with May Night salvia, Snowbrush, and Pink Impression tulip.
