Notes

'Guizot' autumn crocus (Colchicum 'Guizot') is a bulb for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The light purple flowers have a white stripe inside. They open from early to late autumn and attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Rainbow's End hosta, and Sedge.
