Notes

'Lilac Wonder' autumn crocus (Colchicum 'Lilac Wonder') is a bulb for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant lilac-rose flowers open from early to late autumn, and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. J.J. Kerbert bred it.

Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Rainbow's End hosta, and Sedge.
