'Disraeli' autumn crocus (Colchicum 'Disraeli') is a bulb for the border. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Rosy purple flowers open from early to late autumn and attract bees. Deer tend to pass it by. It stays 6 to 9 inches tall and wide, so plant it near the front of the bed.
Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Bowl of Cream peony, and Blue flag.
