Notes
'Glory of Heemstede' autumn crocus (Colchicum 'Glory of Heemstede') is a bulb for borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The bright rosy flowers have a tessellated yellowish base and open from early to late autumn, and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to pass it by. J.J. Kerbert bred it.
Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Christmas fern, and Monkshood.
