This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads at least 24 inches, so give it room. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Bride's feathers, Vision in PInk Chinese astilbe, Solomon's seal, and Lily of the valley.
