Notes
'Watteau' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Watteau') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Goos and Koenemann bred it in 1911. It bears large, single, blush pink flowers in mid to late spring. The plant is large and spreading, so give it room.
Pairs well with Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Carlton daffodil, and Spotted dead nettle.
