Notes
'Wfmobla' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Wfmobla') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching stems bloom in spring and again in summer, and hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates salt.
Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Obsidian coral bells, and Christmas fern.
