Notes

'White Ball' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'White Ball') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant white flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees, and the plant tolerates drought and salt. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Cut it back to keep the arching shape tidy.

Pairs well with Eden rose, Ornamental onion, Maltese cross, and Jackmanii clematis.
