Notes

'White Christmas' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'White Christmas') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The slender white flowers are fragrant, attract bees, and open in early to late spring. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Plant the bulbs in clumps for the best show.

Pairs well with Star magnolia, Queen of Night tulip, and Balloon flower.
