Notes

'White Imp' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'White Imp') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It stays short at about 22 inches tall and has good stem strength. Single white flowers open in early summer above deep green foliage, with one to three buds per stem. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and Charles Klehm and Son Nursery introduced it in 1998.

Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Ostrich fern, and Sedge.
