Wild Angel iris

Notes

'Wild Angel' iris (Iris 'Wild Angel') is a perennial with fragrant flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The large, ruffled flowers have white standards and striped lavender, white, and yellow falls with yellow beards. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming, and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level.

Pairs well with Blush peony, Indian grass, and Queen of Night tulip.
