Notes

'Wills Zwerg' Norway spruce (Picea abies 'Wills Zwerg') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. This evergreen has a conical shape and grows at a rapid rate. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It also attracts birds.

Pairs well with Mugo pine, Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea, and Mount Hood daffodil.
