Notes
'Willy' clematis (Clematis alpina 'Willy') is a vine for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Mauve-pink flowers open in early to late spring and look darker toward the white centers. Silky seed heads follow the blooms. You can also let it climb a support.
Pairs well with Dropmore Scarlet honeysuckle, Snowdrop, and Blush peony.
