Notes

'Pamela Jackman' clematis (Clematis alpina 'Pamela Jackman') is a vine for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Blue flowers open in spring, and the delicate blooms give way to silky seed heads. It is one of the hardiest and easiest clematis to grow, and it belongs to pruning group A. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. George Jackman & Son introduced it.

Pairs well with Clematis, Desire camellia, New Dawn rose, and Redvein enkianthus.
