Notes

'Winter Jade' boxwood (Buxus microphylla 'Winter Jade') is a shrub for hedges, foundation planting, formal gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows slowly into a dense, evergreen mound and tolerates drought. Bees visit the spring blooms.

Pairs well with American holly, Cora Louise peony, and Switchgrass.
