Notes
'Witch' Norway spruce (Picea abies 'Witch') is a tree for low maintenance gardens, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy soil. It stays small at 18 to 24 inches tall and wide, with a conical shape. The evergreen needles give color all year, and birds visit it. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Gro-Low fragrant sumac, Bridal Crown daffodil, and Incrediball Blush smooth hydrangea.
