Notes

'Wyndley' sneezeweed (Helenium 'Wyndley') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide. Copper-yellow petals surround a brown center disk, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Royal fern.
