Notes

'Xenox' orpine (Hylotelephium telephium 'Xenox') is a clumping perennial for borders, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It tolerates drought and keeps its leaves through the year. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Nodding onion, and Limeglow creeping juniper.
