Notes
'Yankee Point' carmel ceanothus (Ceanothus griseus 'Yankee Point') is an evergreen shrub for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 94 to 122 inches wide, so give it plenty of room. Blooms appear in spring and again in summer, and they attract butterflies, bees, and birds.
Pairs well with Henfield Brilliant rock rose, Western redbud, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Wallflower.
