Notes
Yellow cobra lily (Arisaema flavum) is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil. Bright yellow spathes appear in early to late spring above two dissected leaves. It prefers drier spots than most cobra lilies, so try it in dry shade. In colder climates you can grow it in a pot and keep it just above freezing in winter.
Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Liverleaf, and Reed grass.
