Notes

Yellow groove bamboo (Phyllostachys aureosulcata) is a grass for hedges and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It grows fast into a dense stand of gold and green canes. It is evergreen and drought tolerant.
