Notes

Green-glaucous bamboo (Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens) is a grass for containers and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It is evergreen, so it keeps its leaves through winter. It can grow from about 15 to 25 feet tall, which makes a tall screen. Give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Little Gem southern magnolia, Azalea, Tiger lily, and Balloon flower.
