Notes

Yellow wood anemone (Anemone ranunculoides) is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It blooms in early to late spring and grows in acid, alkaline, or neutral soil. It needs little care once settled.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Western sword fern, and Cornelian cherry.
