Notes

'Yin Hong Qiao Cui' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Yin Hong Qiao Cui') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. In late spring, fragrant semi-double flowers open deep pink and fade to light pink at the petal edges. The blooms face outward and measure about 6.7 inches across. The spreading plant reaches about 30 inches tall.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Hicksii yew, and Grape hyacinth.
