Notes

'Yokohama' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Yokohama') is a shrub for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It blooms freely in early summer. The large, double flowers are white with blush shading. Their layered petals have excellent substance, so the blooms look good in a vase.

Pairs well with Hicksii yew, Prairie dropseed, and Greig's tulip.
