Notes

'Yong-Lo' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Yong-Lo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink flowers are double and open in mid to late spring. Petals are deepest in tone at the edge and fade to rose cream at the center. Stiff, strong stems hold the large blooms up well.

Pairs well with Wild bergamot, Anise hyssop, Western sword fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
