Garden uses

Notes

'Yukidōrō' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Yukidōrō') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Snow Road is the English meaning of its name. Yokohama Nurseries introduced it in 1919. Cut a few stems for a vase, or plant it where you can enjoy it up close.

Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Dancing Queen hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
