Notes

'Zui Hongyan' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Zui Hongyan') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its pink flowers have darker pink speckles on a pale background and measure about 4¾ inches across. Bees love the blooms, and the plant grows upright to 31½ inches.

Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Sedge, Picture tulip, and Bells of Ireland.
