Notes

'Zuzu' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Zuzu') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant pink blooms in early summer. William Henry Krekler bred it. The plant stays under about 26 inches tall, so it fits well near the front of a border.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Grape hyacinth, and Sedge.
