Notes

'Absolute Treasure' iris (Iris 'Absolute Treasure') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and the flowers are fragrant. Butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Columbine, Album nettle-leaved mullein, and Ice Follies daffodil.
