Notes

'Adrian' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Adrian') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant violet-blue flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Fa. G. Brouwer bred it.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, and Heather.
