Notes

'Aida' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Aida') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The plant also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Pink Impression tulip, Fire Island hosta, and Christmas fern.
