Notes
'Aiolos' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Aiolos') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. White, fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. I.V.T. bred it.
Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Greig's tulip, and Blue fescue.
