Notes
'Mini Skirt' hosta (Hosta 'Mini Skirt') is a mounding perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It stays about 7 inches tall and spreads about 14 inches, and its leaves are variegated. Purple flowers bloom on and off through the seasons.
Pairs well with Astilbe, Japanese forest grass, and Fringed bleeding heart.
