Notes
'Alba' Siberian squill (Scilla siberica 'Alba') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its icy white flowers have pale yellow anthers and open in spring. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Given time, it will naturalize.
Pairs well with Lenten rose, Common snowdrop, and Jack Snipe daffodil.
