Notes
White squill (Scilla mischtschenkoana) is a bulb for rock gardens, borders, naturalized areas, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Pale blue flowers open in early to late spring on plants that stand 3 to 6 inches tall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows quickly, so you can let it spread into a small drift.
Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Lungwort, and Lilac.
