Notes
'Pink Giant' glory-of-the-snow (Scilla forbesii 'Pink Giant') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The starry flowers are pale lavender-pink with a white glow at the center and open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Lenten rose, Persian violet, and Daffodil.
