Notes

'Alumia Vanilla Cream' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Alumia Vanilla Cream') is an annual for borders, containers, and accents. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound up to 12 inches tall and blooms in spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the fragrant flowers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Drought tolerance makes it easy to grow.

Pairs well with Mealycup sage, Cornflower, and Creeping thyme.
