Notes
'Amadeus' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Amadeus') is a bulb for containers, indoor bloom, and winter color. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. The white double flowers have pink tips. Each First Size bulb sends up 1 to 2 flowering stems, and it blooms indoors in January and February. Let autumn frost hit the leaves, then bring the pot inside.
Pairs well with Cafe au Lait dahlia, Star of persia, and Lime Zinger sedum.
