Notes
'Picotee' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Picotee') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The pure white flowers have a thin red edge, and you can grow it in a pot outside in summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Indoors, it blooms in January and February.
Pairs well with Labyrinth dahlia, False shamrock, Lemongrass, and Hummingbird's mint.
