Notes
'Rilona' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Rilona') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The orange-pink flowers open on stems 24 to 36 inches tall. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It also tolerates dry spells.
Pairs well with Agapanthus, Labyrinth dahlia, and Star jasmine.
