Notes

'Anastasia' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Anastasia') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blue-violet flowers are fragrant and open from early to late spring. Bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Blue fescue, and Bowl of Beauty peony.
